We would love to meet you
At Northern Neck Baptist Church, you can expect to find a group of friendly people dedicated to building up each other and the community. Whether you’ve been watching our services online for quite some time, you’re new to the area, or you’ve just found us for the first time, we would love to meet you in person. We have something for everyone. On Sundays, we have two worship services and a Sunday School Class. On Wednesdays, we host evening Bible studies. We offer exciting and relevant children’s programs that promote God’s Word and biblical values. Learn more about what to expect below.
What to Expect
Teaching
At Northern Neck Baptist Church, we teach and preach the Bible, as we believe it to be the basis for our faith and practice. We use the King James Version. We encourage those who attend our services to follow along in Scripture as our pastor preaches. If you don’t have a Bible, we have some available that you can use if you would like.
Offering
Members of Northern Neck Baptist Church are encouraged to tithe according to Scripture. If you are a guest, you are not obligated in any way to participate in the offering. We want you to be blessed by the singing and preaching.
Childcare
Childcare is provided during the services. Our vibrant children’s ministry starts at 9:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. A nursery for children under the age of two is also provided during each service. We encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities.
Music
Music is an integral part of our worship at Northern Neck Baptist Church. We sing a blend of the traditional hymn favorites, and we also have an appreciation for many contemporary songs. Every song we sing glorifies the Lord and edifies His people. We encourage those who attend our services to use a provided hymnbook and sing along as we worship our God.
Clothing
There is no dress code for those who attend the services at Northern Neck Baptist Church. Many of our church members wear suits and dresses, but we want our guests to feel welcomed as they are.
Parking
There is plenty of parking in our parking lot. Parking is right next to the building so you will not have to walk far. Handicapped spots are available.
